Moonsighting Committee and Live Activities

Please add Moonsighting Committee as a calculation method as it is more accurate for the UK summer when the sun doesn’t really set. Secondly, I wish the live activities start automatically 15 minutes before the next prayer. Right now it starts only if I manually open the app roughly around 5 minutes before the prayer. JazakAllah.

Alhamdulillah. Thank you for the detailed feedback, really appreciate it. And thank you for the Moonsighting Committee suggestion. We’ll be implementing it in the next release, 1.7.0. For Live Activities, it’s actually supposed to trigger 15 minutes before prayer. The limitation is mostly on iOS behaviour. Apple doesn’t reliably allow precise automatic triggering like that unless it’s driven from a server / push update approach. I’m still looking for the best solution for this. JazakAllah.

Thank you for adding Moonsighting Committee calculation method. This app is now perfect. Alhamdulillah. Don’t want to sound too needy, I have made all of my family in the UK install this app. However, some of them in London follow “London Unified Timetable” for prayer times. Would it be possible to incorporate that as well? JazakAllah.

To be honest, there are many localisation details that I don't know unless users tell me, so I really appreciate requests like this. I've already added the London Unified Timetable in today's update, v1.7.1. Could you please ask them to check if I've got it right? JazakAllah.
